Elg is the Norwegian word for moose and throughout Norway the moose is known as ‘Skogens konge’ which means king of the forest. This makes Elg a perfect name for our forest fruit mead.

Cherries have often been associated with witchcraft, potions and spells, being linked to dark moon magic, death and the afterlife. it’s easy to imagine the cherry mead flowing in Valhalla, greeting the Norse warriors as they pass through the gates.
